Thanks to work by Citizens for Tax Justice, this year's Tax Day brings startling numbers about how tax loopholes allowed General Electric to avoid paying billions in taxes:
Tax loopholes allowed GE to avoid more than $2 billion in taxes last year.
By paying its taxes, GE alone could fund a month of the emergency unemployment extension that Congress still hasn't passed.
