Jo is the Executive Director of the National Priorities Project and has two decades experience community organizing for organizations such as AFSC and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Although there are certainly less US troops there than there were at the peak, there are still over 50,000 US troops and tens of thousands more contractors still occupying Iraq. The US is also at the height of the Obama escalation in Afghanistan, conducting drone attacks against the people of Pakistan as well as bombing targets in Yemen. Join NH Peace Action as we call for : all US troops to come home from both Iraq and Afghanistan, end US wars of aggression, build peaceful alternatives to violence and heal the people of this world.
