All contributions are tax deductible
National Priorities Project (NPP) depends on support from individuals to fund our work. We do not receive any money from the government or corporations (except for donors who have their employers match their gifts). All of our funds come from a handful of foundations and individuals like you. To find out more about NPP, our Board, our successes, and to see our most recent annual report, click here.
You can use your credit card online to make a donation to National Priorities Project (NPP). NPP accepts online donations using PayPal, allowing us to take donations securely online using technology by a name that's known and trusted.
To donate online, fill out this secure form.
Mail: You can also send contributions by printing out this form and mailing to:
Sara Silvia, Development Officer
NPP, 243 King Street., Suite #109, Northampton, MA 01060
Phone: For credit card donations or pledges,
contact Sara Silvia at: (413) 584-9556
As a monthly donor, you provide consistent, reliable financial support for maintaining the daily operations of NPP. Your support allows us to concentrate on our work of providing federal-budget-focused data for an informed and engaged citizenry. If you join, you will have a fixed sum transferred automatically from your checking account, or a charge made on your credit card. (If you are doing it by check, enclose a check signed with the amount for the first month.) By doing this you save time and assure that NPP has a reliable, regular source of support for our work.
You can give monthly by printing out this form or by contacting Sara Silvia, Development Officer.
NPP Investors' Circle:
Members of the NPP Investors’ Circle are individuals who make a five-year commitment to funding the National Priorities Project. These funds allow NPP to expand ongoing projects and our national impact. Multi-year pledges of less than five years are also welcome.
You can join the NPP Investors’ Circle or make a multi-year pledge of less than 5 years by printing out this form and sending it to NPP or by contacting Sara Silvia, Development Officer.
Gifts in Honor/Memory:
A gift to National Priorities Project is a unique way to honor a special individual, or honor the memory of a recently passed loved one. Let us know who the gift is in honor or in memory of, and who you’d like us to notify, and we will take care of the rest.
Gifts of Stock:
For some people a gift of stock is the most cost-effective way to make a contribution. National Priorities Project welcomes gifts of stock and other assets. For more information, please contact Sara Silvia, Development Officer, (413) 584-9556.
Our gifts of stock are managed by Thomson Financial Management. You may contact them directly at (413) 585-0030.

Company Matching:
Many companies have employee matching gifts programs. By taking advantage of these programs, your contribution to National Priorities Project can be doubled or even tripled by your employer. Check with your Human Resources office about whether your company has such a program. It is an easy way to make your dollars go further to support NPP. When you send us your donation, simply include your company’s matching gift form and we will do the rest!
Planned Giving:
National Priorities Project’s effectiveness – today and tomorrow – depends on the generosity of NPP’s donors. Bequests, gift annuities, and other charitable estate planning provide vital support for NPP’s future efforts.
One of the simplest ways to make a planned gift to National Priorities Project is through your will or living trust. Such gifts provide critical support for the future of our organization and our mission. You can name NPP as the direct beneficiary of a stated amount of money or a stated percentage of your estate. You can also designate NPP to receive all or a portion of the remainder of the estate once all specific bequests have been satisfied. You may even designate NPP as a contingent beneficiary in the event that family members or other beneficiaries do not survive you.
Here is sample language that can be used to provide a bequest:
I give, devise, and bequeath to the National Priorities Project, a charitable organization located in Northampton, Massachusetts, (the sum of $____); (___ percent of my estate); (the following property: _______); or (the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate).
NPP’s tax identification number is 04-3070112. If you have already provided for NPP in your estate plans, please let us know so that we may recognize your generosity.
Volunteer:
We are in constant need of energetic people who want to give their time to make a difference. Contact Sara Silvia to discuss volunteer opportunities.
Other:
For more information about other planned giving to NPP, please contact Sara Silvia, Development Officer.
