After the fiscal cliff seized our government and our economy in December, we now face Fiscal Cliff II –  a series of looming deadlines that reflect just how much our democracy has been trampled upon by our lawmakers. The across-the-board budget cuts known as sequestration that went into effect March 1 were the first rock off the cliff; now, we face a March 27 expiration of our nation's temporary budget , which will result in a government shutdown unless Congress passes a budget. After that, the temporary debt ceiling suspension comes up again in May.  Join us in demanding more from our elected officials in Washington D.C.! What we're asking for is not a lot. In fact, all it requires is lawmakers to do their jobs.
